74th Annual Golden West Grand

The Livermore-Pleasanton Rod & Gun Club will host the 74th Annual Golden West Grand from May 6-10, 2026.


The event features 1000 ATA registered targets, with singles, doubles, handicaps, special events, and the SCTP Junior Tournament. Twelve trap fields will use Canterbury voice releases and Pat-Traps, while White Flyer green-top pitch targets will be thrown.

About Livermore Rod & Gun Club

LPRG offers a safe, modern facility across 54 acres, including rifle, pistol, and trap ranges, a clubhouse, outdoor BBQ, and recreation area. Volunteers, sponsors, and the ATA community support the event to ensure smooth organization and a welcoming atmosphere for all participants.

Event Fees

ATA ($4.00) and CGSTA ($4.00) daily fees will be collected on first event entered each day.

The Squadding Office opens at daily 8:00 a.m. during the event.

Accomodations

RV parking will be available at $200 for the week for full hookups, $150 with water, and dry camping $100 for the week.

Safety and Security

Keep all guns open and unloaded when not on firing line.



Anyone creating a disturbance or disrupting the harmony of the shoot will be disqualified and asked to leave the grounds.


Keep all dogs leashed and away from the trap fields.

Meals

Breakfast and lunch will be served each day.

Ammo

Ammunition available for purchase under California Department of Justice regulations during the event.

Registration Certificate

This certifies that the Livermore-Pleasanton Rod & Gun Club of Livermore, California, has been authorized to hold a registered shoot on May 6-10, 2026.


Amateur Trapshooting Association official rules shall govern this shoot and the scores will be included in its official records.
